After finishing the Hospitality Business School in 1991, Kisa van den Berg left for the United States in order to complete her thesis for the Sheraton Fairfield Hotel in New Jersey. Her research was based upon how to increase room-sales and profitability for the Sheraton Hotel. After her return to The Netherlands, the Israel Government Tourist Office for the Benelux offered her a position of Public Relations Officer.
In order to develop her commercial talents and to continue carrying out her passion for Israel, in 1996 Kisa decided to join the sales department of El Al Israel Airlines. In 1999, Kisa was promoted to Sales Manager, where she was responsible for passenger sales and turn-over within The Netherlands.
Kisa is an active member of MPI (Meeting Planners International) and for the past 2 years board member of Site (Society for Incentive & Travel Executives) Chapter The Netherlands which she joint in 1998. Therefore she built up an extensive network.
After the first meeting with Sigrid Scheffer in 1999, Kisa found her sounding board and the idea for TravelMarketing was born. Kisa's enthusiasm, energy and dedication highly contribute to the success of TravelMarketing.
